For my break I have been doing some directed studies for practice before I start year two. I've been doing several models (several building and as shown here, a sniper rifle) and here's one of the models I am currently working on.
With this model I was inspired by the WWII Springfield sniper rifle. These are the most up to date renders of my models. I have still got a fair way to go one these, as I have yet to do the spec and normal map on this model.
