Uv mapping

To begin with, I was struggling really badly with texturing, as I didn't know how to do it. However, during one of the workshops at uni, I was shown how to do it properly and I finally understood how to do it. However, it still took me quite a while to do

I decided to uv map my chimney, as it was my favorite model and really wanted to texture it. Also, I used a uv checker to see if there was any stretching happening to my uvs, and to see if they were flipped on the model, and I also used a feature on Maya that shows if any uvs were flipped. As you can see below, the red uvs below are flipped and are the wrong way. 




My UV map completed.
